CHARLES F. MOORE

Charlie Moore has 23 years of litigation experience, primarily representing insurance carriers and their insureds in litigated matters. 

 

Prior to attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, he spent nearly four years as a corporate banker and lender with Branch Banking and Trust (“BB&T”, n/k/a Truist). Charlie currently has a general litigation practice with a concentration on civil insurance litigation. His client base is largely comprised of insurance carriers and private businesses with liability defense needs. Charlie enjoys aggressively involving himself in cases and appearing in the courtroom. He has vast trial experience across South Carolina and has tried many cases involving private clients and institutional clients. 

 

Charlie has lived most of his life in South Carolina and loves all areas of the state. He enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoor chef.  He enjoys the social aspects of his law practice and was president of the Richland County Bar Association in 2020.  Charlie also enjoys memberships in the American Board of Trial Advocates as well as John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court.

 

Charlie and his wife, Mahalie Davies Moore, are the proud parents of three children: Mahalie, Clara, and Gus.
